1.  Other Comments

• A well presented session. Very useful in my line of work.

• Excellent programme, great for Primary, Intermediate and High School.

 


2. How did you learn about this program (newspaper, organizational newsletter, radio, TV, from a friend, flyer, poster, etc.)?

[all respondents learned of it through the PATE conference]

 


3.  For you, what were the most worthwhile parts or aspects of the program?

• Information findings.

• As far as what I’ve read – everything’s worthwhile especially the exercises that helps me think and retain the information.

• Information availability.

• Using computers to look at several island countries with variety of factors and features which are so important in teaching geography.

• Cultural perspectives being considered.

• Learning about other Pacific Islands and culture, language and way of life.

• Scope, layout, methodology of the program is excellent.

• The hands on feature.

• The attempt to incorporate elements of culture from local indigenous perspectives. Use of technology as a tool to enhance learning.

 

 


4.  What were the least worthwhile parts?

• Not enough knowledge to use.

• Don’t know haven’t got much time to examine it.

• Not having more time for discussion.

• None.

• All worthwhile.

 

 


5. Please feel free to comment below on any aspect of the program. Thank you for your assistance.

• I personally think that the introduction has to be something to begin with how to operate the computer and then gradually to higher level of using the computer looking for information and other important information needed.

• Great session.

• Very useful, challenging in terms of training for computer skills.

• We can use this program.
