R. E. Johannes, "Words of the Lagoon: Fishing and Marine Lore in the Palau District of Micronesia" Berkeley et al: University of California Press, 1981. This outstanding work gives an intimate look at Palauan fishing customs, lore and traditions. It is perhaps the best book of its kind.
